Paul E. Weyand, 87, Somerset, died Oct. 20, 2021 at home. Born Dec. 1, 1933 in Quemahoning Twp., son of William Calvin and Mary (Miller) Weyand. Preceded in death by parents; grandchildren John Weyand, Jr. and Richard Kelly, Jr.; great granddaughter Chailee Boswell; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Dorothy Barndt; children: Bonnie Kelly, Edward Weyand, John (Ronda) Weyand, Lena (Jim) Gindlesperger, Jean Gastley, and Tammy (Larry) Taylor; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; brothers: Leroy and Charles Weyand; and sisters: Bessie (Calvin) Zarefoss and Grace Nicklow. He was a retired engineering/maintenance employee of Somerset Hospital with 47 years of service. He enjoyed antique car shows, metal detecting, his 1953 Plymouth Cambridge, and spending time with his family.
