Peggy Jerin

Peggy Jerin, 81, of Berlin, formerly of Hooversville, died Jan. 24, 2020 at UPMC Somerset. Born Feb. 6, 1938 in Reading Mines, daughter of Charles and Lillian Pearl (Zarefoss) Paxton. Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur “Sam” Jerin, daughter Diane Rosey, son Jeffrey Jerin, sister Pauline Seifert, and brother Albert Paxton. Survived by children: Arthur (Christine) Jerin Jr., Thresa (Randall) Lane, Pamela (Timothy) Weible, Randy Jerin, Jacqueline Eubanks, Cindy (Roy) Hummel, Timothy (Wanda) Jerin, Laurie (Brandon) Pletcher, and Lisa (Jesse) Broadwater; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and sister Charlotte Brougher. She was a homemaker. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 12 noon Tuesday at Kantner United Methodist Church. Rev. Rich Pearson officiating. Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
