Philip John Alder, 65, of Berlin, formerly of Perkasie, died Dec. 29, 2022 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born April 24, 1957 in Pittsburgh, son of Philip J. Jr. and Audrey (Hoffman) Alder. Preceded in death by parents, sister Cyri Mattern, and brother-in-law Harry Mattern. Survived by sisters: Beverly (Gary “Bub”) Chalk and Audrey (David) Walker; niece Erin (Andy) Maxymillian; nephews: Eric (Carolyn) Mattern, William (Mollie) Walker, Joseph (April) Walker, and Andrew (Darcy) Walker; and 7 grand nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Somerset High School. Member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Sellersville. He loved the outdoors, swimming, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
