Richard C. Coughenour

Richard C. Coughenour, 86, Berlin, died Dec. 25, 2021 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born June 7, 1935 in Glencoe, son of Cloyce and Marion (Smith) Coughenour. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Becky Ann Walters, and brother-in-law Bill Thompson. Survived by son Keith (Roni Sue) and daughter Michelle Coughenour; granddaughter Shelby Coughenour; sister Karen Thompson; and nephew Hunter Thompson. He was a 1953 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a US Army veteran. He was a retired mechanic and driver for Croner Cartage. Member of New Baltimore Sportsmen’s Club and VFW Post 7295, Berlin. He enjoyed reading, carpentry, and hunting. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
