Robert Franklin Glessner, 90, Berlin, died October 13, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born January 22, 1935 in Berlin, son of Franklin and Alverda (Stevanus) Glessner. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 62 years the former Thelma Kallman, and sisters Miriam Glessner and Charlotte Chonko. Survived by children: Robert A. (Christine) Glessner, Tammy (Robert) Burns, Teresa Montgomery (Ben Bier), Tina Fisher, and Travis (Jeannea) Glessner; grandchildren: Matthew, Jennifer, Jody, Derek, Devin, Lacey, Heath, Brett, Nicole, Melissa, Heather, Samantha, Austin, and Jackson; 31 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. He attended Berlin Brothersvalley High School and graduated from Vale Tech. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Robert was a retired maintenance worker for Snyder’s, Briggs, and other local companies. He attended North Ridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fixing things, and helping others. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Three Seasons Community Church, 500 South St., Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Viewing 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
