Robert L. Stull, 72, of Shanksville, died Dec. 21, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian. Born June 21, 1949 in Somerset, son of Ernest and Caroline (Fox) Stull. Preceded in death by parents and granddaughter Zoe Ward. Survived by his wife of 21 years the former Kathy Jacobs; daughters: Michelle (Zerick) Cook, Julie (William) Wagner, Amanda (Micah) Tucker, and Terri (Craig) Ward; grandchildren: Gabrielle (Chris) Conkey, Zarabeth, Zianna, and Zachiah Cook, Luke and Eden Wagner, Essence and Jalynne Tucker, and Harper and Kinley Ward; great grandsons: Holden and Jackson Conkey; father and mother-in-law: Samuel and Vivian Donia; brothers and sister: Dennis (Claudia) Stull, Gerald (Joy) Stull, Donna (Brian) Wilt, and Donald (Rev. Marleen) Stull; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1967 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School and retired Director of Coal for Geochemical Testing for over 40 years. Member of Stoystown Sons of the American Legion and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. Life member of Shanksville Vol. Fire Dept. His favorite place on earth was Lake Stonycreek, on his pontoon boat, surrounded by his family. No viewing or visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
