Robert Eric "Butch" Weaver

Robert Eric “Butch” Weaver, 64, Shanksville, died December 4, 2023 at home. Born April 21, 1959 in Somerset, son of Harold Weaver of Somerset and the late Blanche (Will) Weaver. Also survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Hollie Walker; children: Ashley married to Corby White, Dustin Weaver (Karen Steel), Travis Weaver, and Maddie married to Zeke Werner; grandchildren: Zachary and Kyle Weaver, Marshall and Evelyn White, and Baby Boy Werner due in February; special friends Rick and Bruce Younkin; brother Craig (Denise) Weaver; and sister Rhonda Hutzell. He was a 1977 graduate of Somerset High School. Bob recently retired from CVS after 48 years, beginning his career in high school at the Revco Drug Store. He liked to cook large amounts of food for only two people and he enjoyed camping in his crazy tee shirts with his wife Hollie and dogs Fergus and Lily, who he loved more than most people. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. A private viewing will be held for immediate family. Family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 p.m. until memorial service at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Somerset. Rev. Mike Dunlap officiating.
