Rose Marie (Moore) Long

Rose Marie Long, 89, of Johnstown, formerly of Stoystown, died August 11, 2025 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born July 26, 1936 in East Millsboro, daughter of Robert G. and Mary (McCarron) Moore. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Merlene Monteith, brother Greer Moore, and sister Norma Jean Walskey. Survived by daughter Karen Long Walat; grandchildren: Brett and Cody Walat, and David (Jen) Monteith and Shannon Monteith; and 5 great grandchildren. She was a former van driver for Colburn and a former longtime waitress in the Somerset Area. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Rose was very proud of her Irish heritage. No viewing or service. Inurnment Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
