Ruth Ann (Engle) Holland

Ruth Ann Holland, 83, Berlin, died December 28, 2022 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born August 13, 1939 in Somerset, daughter of Lester and Mabel (Musser) Engle. Preceded in death by parents, husband James T. Holland, son-in-law William Baker, infant brothers Buddy and Junior, and sister Dorothy Custer. Survived by children: Jeffrey (Linda) Coddington and Pamela Baker; step children: J.T. (Cathy) Holland, Terri Lynn (Chad) Fatula, and Donald Holland; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and sister Jean Long. She was a graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School. Member of Roxbury United Church of Christ, Berlin VFD Auxiliary and Pius Spring Woman’s Club. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, and bus trips. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.  Pastor Bill Deal officiating. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
