Shannon Michael Fanale

Shannon Michael Fanale, 25, Somerset, died June 6, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Oct. 30, 1996 in Baltimore, MD, son of Dodd Fanale and the late Alisha (Ling) Fanale. Survived by father and step mother Niccole Fanale; sister Nicolette married to Ryan Wegert and their sons Grayson and Zayden; brother Patrick Fanale; and grandmother Dolley Ling. He was a 2015 graduate of West York Area High School. He was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer. He was honorably discharged in 2020. He worked at Glade’s Pike Taverne. Member of Somerset F.O.E. Aerie 1801. He loved animals, especially dogs. Spending time with his family, especially his nephews. He was a kind, fun-loving person who went out of his way to help others. He had a way to make you laugh and smile. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Rev. Joe Clement officiating. Inurnment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
