Shelby Stufft Obituary

Shelby Irene Stufft, 74, of Boswell, died Jan. 10, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside. Born Mar. 25, 1947 in Salisbury, daughter of Leroy and Ida (Butler) Reckner. Preceded in death by parents, husband James W. Stufft, sisters: Janet Miller and June Sullivan Hardiman, and brother Foster Reckner. Survived by daughters Rachel married to Joe Barnick, Boswell, and Laura married to Corey Woodward, Franklintown; grandchildren: Cheyenne McDowell and Cody Barnick; sister Hazel Hyde; brother Glenn (Judy) Reckner; brother-in-law Leonard Miller; and several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Jenner Boswell Joint High School. Former employee of the U.S. Information Agency, Laura D. Coal Co., and Dorfman Hoffman Sewing Factory. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Somerset Co., P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501, St. Jude Children's Tribute Program, P.O.
