Shirley M. (Christian) Largent

Shirley M. Largent, 90, Berlin, died peacefully at home on March 1, 2024. Born November 4th, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of James and Inez (Black) Christian. Preceded in death by parents, husband Kenneth F. Largent, brother Thomas Christian, sisters Lucille “Sally” Sipes and Patricia “Pat” Rockwell. Survived by sons: Keith Lewis and Kenneth Ashley (NormaJean) Largent; granddaughter Megan; sister Lillian “Toots” Buterbaugh; and sister-in-law Delores Christian. She was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Berlin, past President and member of Pius Spring Woman's club, member of the Red Hat Society, an aficionado of music and singing, and a devout, loving mother and wife. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Union Cemetery, 17591 Great Cove Road, McConnellsburg. Rev. Robert Keplinger officiating.
