Terry Dean Fyock

Terry Dean Fyock, 82, of Stoystown, PA, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023. He was surrounded by the love, prayers, and presence of family and friends. Born December 8, 1940 in Somerset, son of Noah Joshua and Dorothy Eileen (Reed) Fyock.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Larry Fyock.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Carol Faye (Escherich) Fyock; children: Amy C. Mikula and husband Joe of Stafford, VA, and Bradley D. Fyock and wife Katja of Bristow, VA; grandchildren: Kyle J. (Ashley) and Drew T. (Maison) Mikula, and Kayla J. and Kamryn S. Fyock; great grandchildren: Jensyn Y. and Boen G. Mikula; siblings: Thomas Fyock and Nancy Krug; sister-in-law Susan Fyock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was a loving family man, a Class of 1958 graduate of Forbes High School, a faithful member and Deacon at Reading Grace Brethren Church, a retired Lineman at GTE, a farmer, and a strip miner. He enjoyed hunting, driving adventures, bowling, his Steiner, and overall, working with his hands. He enjoyed classic hymns, visiting with family and friends, and he was always ready to share a story or a good joke. Terry will be sadly missed, and he will remain in our hearts always.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Larry Weigle officiating.
