Terry Lee Griffith

Terry Lee Griffith, 70, Berlin, died November 8, 2022 at home. Born June 29, 1952 in Somerset, son of Charles Thomas and Wilma Jean (Bittner) Griffith. Preceded in death by parents, grandmother Lizzie Griffith, stepmother Gladys (McClucas) Griffith, brothers Dennis and Donald Griffith, nephew Kevin Griffith, and brother-in-law Larry Broadwater. Survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Nancy Broadwater; children: Michele (Michael) Shuey, Greensburg, and Michael Griffith and fiancée Missi May, Berlin, and her family Ian (Monica) Will and son Holden, and Brock Fisher; grandchildren Zach and Bryce Shuey who he supported in every activity; sisters-in-law Sara and Cindy Griffith; brother-in-law Kevin (Robyn) Broadwater; sister-in-law Karen (Jesse) Maust; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1970 graduate of Somerset High School and was an employee of Berlin Market for over 40 years. Member of Berlin Brethren Church. Former announcer and writer for Jennerstown Speedway. He was an avid racing fan at many local tracks especially with his buddies grandson Bryce, Boyd Lewis, Sr. and Tom Baker, Sr. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.
