Thelma Marie (Dunn) Rice

Thelma Marie Rice, 84, of Somerset, formerly of Lusby, MD and Stoystown, died Feb. 20, 2021 at The Patriot. Born Feb. 27, 1936 in Winterville, ME, daughter of Florence and Marie Ange (Michaud) Dunn. Preceded in death by parents, husband Claude W., sisters Jackie Boettger and Cecile King, brother Gerald Dunn, and companion of many years Donald E. Bouchard. Survived by sons: Bill married to the former Iona Novison, Somerset, and Matt, Greensburg; sisters: Frances (Arthur) Good and Marion (Neil) Bourgoin; brother Roger Dunn; several nieces and nephews; extended loving family: Capt. Donald M. Bouchard (USN Ret.), James E. Bouchard, Rita M. Linnenkamp, and Michelle A. Bouchard, and their children: Jessica Linnenkamp, Joseph Linnenkamp, Alexandra Bouchard, Stephen Linnenkamp, John Bouchard, Sarah Bridegum, Benjamin Linnenkamp, Patrick Bouchard, Anna Bouchard, William Bridegum, Lindsay Bridegum, and Danielle Bouchard. She was a former volunteer at Somerset Hospital and member of the ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. No viewing or service at the request of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Somerset Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, 225 S.
