Thomas "Pap" Weigle Sr.

Thomas “Pap” Weigle Sr., 86, of Friedens, died Dec. 27, 2024 at home. Born July 2, 1938 in Stonycreek Twp., son of Melvin J. and Sara M. (Carey) Weigle. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Yvonne E. Masteller, and infant son Danny. Survived by his children: Jody (Tom) Ferguson, Berlin, Tom Jr. (Timberlie), Hooversville, Mark (Mary), Friedens, and Lori Shaffer (fiancé Ken Blair), Kantner; 5 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Mary (Carl) Harmon; and beloved dog Princess. He was a 1956 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and retired from PBS Coals. Member of North Ridge Baptist Church and Laurel Ridge Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to races, and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until a service at 6 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
