Trudy Kay (Griffith) Baker

Trudy Kay (Griffith) Baker, 83, Berlin, died June 14, 2021 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born March 13, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late William B. and Dorothy (Llewellyn) Griffith. She is preceded in death by her husband David E. Baker. Trudy is survived by her children Dee Ann Hoover, Little River, SC, Susan (Matthew) Lettrich, Noank, CT, and William (Marilyn Lambert), Berlin; grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, and Jonathan Hoover, Chase Lettrich, and Travis and Jared Meyers; 8 great grandchildren, and her sister Joy Griffith Gardner.  Trudy went to Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a nursing assistant at the Somerset County Home for the Aged, now Meadow View Nursing Center. She was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Berlin, Order of the Eastern Star, Berlin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and Pius Spring Woman’s Club.  Special gratitude is extended to the staff at Somerset In Touch Hospice and the staff at Meadow View Nursing Center.
