Tyler James Seifert

Tyler James Seifert, 1 year old, with great sadness was called to be with the Lord on June 24, 2021 at his home in Berlin, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 3, 2020 at 9:24 AM weighing 6 lbs 15 oz, 18.5 inches to Robert Morris and Kelsey Nicole (Baughman) Seifert. Tyler was welcomed into the Kingdom by his paternal great grandparents Kenneth Seifert and Mary Miller, Robert Krause, Theresa Krause-Compton (John), paternal grandfather James Edward Seifert and maternal great aunt Gayle Annette Baughman. He will be greatly missed by his parents and brothers Aiden Morris and Jacob George. Also survived by his maternal great grandparents Melvin and Bonnie Baughman, Samuel and Linda Fochtman; paternal grandmother Theresa Seifert (Traci); maternal grandparents Jacob and Lore Baughman; paternal uncle James Seifert Jr. and aunts Christina (Todd) Stanojev, Sherry (Daryl) Gindlesperger, Mary (Kodie) Ritenour; Maternal aunt Melanie Baughman; Godparents Thomas and Tiffany Lepley as well as many cousins and great aunts and uncles. Tyler was diagnosed with an inoperable mass on his brain stem on June 25th 2020, that he had since birth, that caused his time on Earth to be short. He was baptized as a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Tyler was also a member of Facebook group Tiny Superheroes. He was such a warrior with an infectious smile that everyone who saw fell in love with. Despite the trials our Lord gave him he was always happy and fought to celebrate his first birthday with most of his loved ones. He enjoyed spending time with his parents and brothers, listening to music, and plenty of naps. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Dr Kelly Warshel, Jann, Sarah Jo, and his Aunt Tiffany all of Windber Hospice, and the PICU family at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The family is requesting that visitors not wear black.
