Walter G. Ryniak

Walter G. Ryniak, 86, Boswell, died June 17, 2023 at home. Born February 20, 1937 in Boswell, son of John E. and Nancy (Marine) Ryniak. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Angela Ryniak, infant grandson, sister Teresa Fritz, and brother John Ryniak. Survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Joy Vought; daughters: Gina (Nick) Felice and Beth (Tom) Manges; grandchildren: McKinley Fraser, Alex Felice, Shaylyn (Seth) Kaufman, Alanna (Matthew) Miller and Shawn Manges; great grandchildren: Andrew and Caleb Kaufman, and Melina and Blake Miller; and sisters: Rose Charnesky and Nancy (Jay) Pyle. He was a 1954 graduate of Jenner Boswell Joint High School and a Vietnam War Era Army Veteran. Member of All Saint’s Catholic Church, Boswell, and the Somerset County Honor Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at All Saint’s Catholic Church, Boswell. Rev. Aron Maghsoudi celebrant. Inurnment St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell. Graveside Military Honors by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
