Wayne Lee Weigle

Wayne Lee Weigle, 73, Schellsburg, died Dec. 18, 2019 at UPMC Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born June 27, 1946 in Shanksville, son of Ernest and Mildred (Shirey) Weigle. Preceded in death by parents and wife the former Barbara Lohr. Survived by children Jason (Chandra) Weigle, Sidney, NE, and Kristi Wiegle, Hanover; grandson Silas Weigle; brothers: Gerald (Judy) and Dennis (Teresa) Weigle, both of Friedens, and sister Nancy McNeal (Robert Snyder), Lancaster. He was a 1964 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School and a Vietnam War Army Veteran. Retired from the PA Fish and Boat Commission. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and raising shiitake mushrooms and ginseng. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Walker Cemetery, Shanksville. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating.
