William Ross Mort, 58, Central City, died Jan. 6, 2020 at Aristacare at Hillsdale Park. Born Feb. 18, 1961 in Somerset, son of William H. and Naomi (Wright) Mort. Preceded in death by parents and step son Brandon Kosic. Survived by daughter Ashley Mort; grandchildren Brandon Jr., Brooklyn, and Vincent; step mother Marie Mort; sisters and brothers Colleen (Chris) Starch, Wanda (Daren) Hoover, Walter (Heidi) Mort, Charles (Nikki) Mort, Wayne (Katrina) Flamm, Victoria (Tim) Ackerman, Lisa (Tim) Henry, William H. II (Mary) Mort, Peggy Sue Keller (Steven Klingensmith), and Rebecca (Michael) Lockett; and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an over-the-road truck driver. There will be no viewing or service. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
