William H. Mort II

William H. Mort II, 44, of Bear Lake, died March 14, 2022 at home. Born June 6, 1977 in Meyersdale, son of Marie (Walker) Mort, of Hunker, and the late William H. Mort. Also preceded in death by brother William Ross Mort. Also survived by his wife the former Mary Middleton; daughters: Melanie and Brandi Mort, and Gabrielle (Christopher) Merrbach; step children: Payten, Carmen, and Ian Kucnick; grandchildren: Braylen and Skyler Rogers; sisters and brothers: Colleen (Chris) Starch, Wanda (Daren) Hoover, Walter (Heidi) Mort, Charles (Nikki) Mort, Wayne (Katrina) Flamm, Victoria (Tim) Ackerman, Lisa (Tim) Henry, Peggy Sue Keller (Steven Klingensmith), and Rebecca (Michael) Lockett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and Somerset Co. Vo-Tech. He was an over-the-road truck driver for PTL.
