William Lloyd Zipfel

William Lloyd Zipfel, 57, of Hooversville, died June 21, 2025 at home. Born March 29, 1968 in Windber, son of Richard James Sr. and Carol (Weaver) Zipfel. Preceded in death by grandparents: William and Cleeda Zipfel, and Lloyd and Helen Weaver; and brother Richard James Zipfel Jr. Survived by his parents, of Hooversville; aunts: Karen Swartzwelder and Marilyn Goff; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a graduate of North Star High School and served in the Army National Guard. Former truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Berkey Church and Stoystown Sons of the American Legion, and a former bowling league member at Richland Lanes. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Nathan Crissman officiating.
