Yvonne Marie Donahue

Yvonne Marie Donahue, 87, formerly of Boswell, passed peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born June 5, 1938 in Somerset Co., daughter of Gerald and Maude (Shultz) Donahue. Preceded in death by parents and great niece Erin Lynn Miller. Survived by her sister Evelyn (Larry) Miller, of Stoystown, brother Ronald (Peggy) Donahue, of Eden Prairie, MN, and several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Forbes High School and worked as a bookkeeper. She was a longtime member of Horner Lutheran Church, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, Knotty Chix quilting group, and altar guild. She enjoyed her card club group and craft shows. The family wishes to thank the staff at Meadow View Nursing Center and Heartland Hospice for the special care given to her. Viewing from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Horner Lutheran Church. Pastor Regina Holliday officiating. Interment Somerset Co. Memorial Park.
