Mary,
My thoughts are with you during your time of grief. I remember the first time I stopped to ask your mom if I could get a few stalks of rhubarb. She put down what she was doing and escorted me to the patch and showed me the proper way to pick it. She was a sweet lady, cherish your memories!

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Jean very well from our teenage years in Berlin and the time we spend at the farm with John. Our hearts are with the entire family in this time of loss.

I was so sad to hear of Aunt Jeans passing. To the Shaffer Family, I am sorry for your loss.
Aunt Jean was one of my favorite aunts. We often spoke on the phone and shared our Christian beliefs from the days we attended the little Ridge Church together. Jean was one of the elders of the church, and I appreciated her sharing her beliefs and perspective when I had Bible study questions or setbacks in my spiritual growth. She was always positive and upbeat and I always felt better after we spoke. I will greatly miss being able to talk to her and visit her. May she rest in peace.
