Richard Wayne Williamson, 67, of Harrisburg formerly of Sinking Spring, died Oct. 2, 2017 at Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center, Harrisburg. Born Sept. 2, 1950 in Johnstown son of James and Colleen (Sebring) Williamson. Survived by parents, of Sinking Spring; sons: Scott (Victoria) Williamson, Dillsburg, and Stephen (Kari) Williamson, State College; daughter Rachel (Steve) Horton, Greensboro, NC; 7 grandchildren; brothers: Jamie, Ed (Jean), and Greg Williamson; sisters: Joy (Russell) Delp and Elaine (Jeff) Fiant. He was a 1968 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and a 1972 graduate of the General Motors Institute Flint, Michigan with a Bachelors in Engineering. Post-graduation he worked as a mechanical engineer for AMP, Inc. Richard always had a smile for anyone he met and was a lifelong basketball and baseball fan. Late in his life, seeing his grandchildren would light up his eyes. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buckstown. Rev. Edward V.
