Wayne Chester Coddington, 79, Somerset, died June 17, 2017 at home. Born Dec. 19, 1937 in Somerset, son of Clarence and Magdalene (Yoder) Coddington. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Ronald, Carl, and Freeman, and sister Kay Fritz. Survived by his wife of 55 years the former Beatrice Menear; daughter Rhonda Coddington Watterson, Listie; grandchildren: Samuel Wayne Watterson and Dominique Marie Watterson; and brothers: Jay (Leah), Robert (Lois), and Ray Coddington. He was a retired employee of Coddington Lumber Co. In his younger years he enjoyed training and showing horses. Former member of Somerset Co. Saddle Club. No viewing or service at Wayne’s request.
