Anna Mae (Johnson) Weighley

Anna Mae Weighley, 85, Berlin died Aug. 9, 2016 at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1930 in Berlin, daughter of Robert A. and Nellie (Ross) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents, husband Daniel Weighley Sr., son Jamie, and sisters Helen Boburchock, Betty Wagner, Marian Menser, and Jean Johnson. Survived by children: Dan, Jr. and wife Nancy, Berlin; Don and wife Hazel, Somerset; D. Jack and wife Roxanne, Sheryl Walker and husband Robert, all of Meyersdale; Patti Chadwick and husband Robert, Somerset; David and wife Joni and Tim and wife Jody, all of Berlin; 11 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a sister, Roberta Coughenour and husband Robert, Berlin. She was a 1948 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She worked in many aspects of the printing business for many years. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, where she sang in the choir and was involved with the Christmas Cantatas and the Women’s Fellowship group, Berlin Fire Auxiliary, the Jolly Quilters, the Mountaineer Homemakers, and was the secretary for the Berlin Area Historical Society for many years. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating.
