Harvey Wayne Miller

Harvey Wayne Miller, 65, Fairhope, went to be with the Lord November 23, 2015 at home. Born March 9, 1950 in Allegheny Township, son of the late Harvey U. and Sarah (Spaugy) Miller. Survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Carol Harvey; children: Beth married to Travis Anderson, Jerome; David married to the former Melissa Chappie, Berlin; and Daniel married to the former Katie Branham, Fairhope; grandchildren: Matthew and Kaitlyn Miller, and Natalie Anderson; sisters: Carol Leydig married to Dale, Berlin; and Joann Sayler married to the late John Sayler, Garrett. Wayne was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was an employee of Agway for 33 years. He was a lifetime farmer on the family’s farm in Allegheny Township. He was also a lifetime member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Fairhope, where he served in a variety of capacities. He also served with the Army National Guard. Member of Somerset County Sportsman’s League, North Branch Hunting Club, Somerset County Beef Producers, Berlin Fire Dept., Berlin Young Farmers, and Miller Cemetery Association. Wayne enjoyed farming, hunting, and the outdoors. He also enjoyed visits with family and friends at the family’s farm and sugar camp. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Homer Duppstadt officiating. Interment Mt.
